Terms & Conditions

• To secure your booking a non refundable deposit of £50.00 per tipi/yurt is required within 5 days of making booking, if not received within 5 days the booking slot is then released.

• Confirmation of booking will be sent out after deposit has cleared, by email unless specified by customer. 

• All balance of payments are due 6 weeks before stay. If balance has not been received 6 weeks before booked date the booking slot will be released and the customer will lose deposit and have no entitlement  to a refund.

• Cancellations made  within 14 days of date due to come are not entitled to any refund  of monies, vouchers or alternate dates - they will lose their slot. Customers with exceptional circumstances may  appeal to the goodness of tipi Wales Heart.  In this case any decision made by tipi Wales will be final and not set precedent. Bookings made at short notice must be paid in full

• We will endeavour to do our best to make your stay enjoyable whilst taking no responsibility for the weather and all customers coming to stay must come prepared for rain and sunshine bringing suitable clothing and footwear!

• We will supply wood for 1 nights stay, further wood can be supplied at cost or you can forage for yourself. Charcoal only to be used in the fire within tipi we will supply 1 bag only,if further bags required please bring along with you or we can supply at cost. The local shops do sell charcoal.

• There may be sheep or horses in the same field. Please tell us if you are not happy with this or you have allergies to the said prior to your stay. We will endeavour to remove if not comfortable. We do feel however this adds to the tipi experience. 

• We will be welcoming and go out of our way to ensure you feel safe and comfortable at the site. A information pack will be e-mailed to you detailing local attractions etc. We have on site toilets and a shower, this is located over the quiet lane adjacent the site, parental supervision will be required to take children to the facility.(not all locations have this facility, please ask prior to booking. One site will require your own 4 x4 to get to the tipi. tipi Wales except no responsibility to any damage that may be caused to vehicle) If in doubt please ask.

• We ask our customers to arrive between 12 noon and 5 p.m., please add at least one hour to all route finder satellite navigation programs.   If you are caught in traffic please endeavour to let us know. Customers who arrive much later  must be prepared not to be greeted at the site and we will leave full instructions for them. The site must be vacated by 11a.m. on the morning of departure to allow for the next intrepid tipi dwellers. If you require longer stays we may be able to accommodate but only if arrangements are made prior to your stay and no other bookings are to follow on. There may be a small charge for this,please ask for details

• All rubbish must be taken away unless agreed prior to your stay, we will supply 2 bin bags for rubbish you may wish to bring your own depending on your activities. Our site is clean and tidy and would respect you to leave it in the condition you found it. Leave nothing but footprints take nothing but memories.

• All damage must be paid for by the customer. To date we have had no damage.

• If you wish to bring a awning for outside cooking/shelter in the event of inclement weather please do so but please advise tipi Wales, so the positioning of tipis can be adjusted if needs be.

• Cars/ vehicles must be left at the designated area. All gates must be closed if found closed.

• Sorry, but we can't allow dogs on the site!
